Organizational Requirements#

The first step in using the Training and Development module is to define the organization's competency requirements. The requirements may be in personal qualities, professional abilities and skills in all areas of business.

Track Personal Competencies#

After defining the organizations requirements, the next step is to track competencies of the personnel.

  • Maintain Personal Qualifications (ICPQ)
  • Measure Personal Competency (ICPC)

Manage Development Programs#

The fourth step is to determine the organization's current competency level and then develop programs and activities designed to fulfill the gaps in competency levels.

  • Measure Organizational Competency Level (RCOC)
  • Establish Development Programs (ICDP)
  • Plan Development Activities (ICDA)

Administer Courses#

With the development programs and activities defined, organizations may then define the necessary suppliers, courses and schedules needed to administer the courses.

  • Publish Training Suppliers (RCTS)
Courses
  • Define Courses (ICRS)
  • Maintain Course Schedules (ICCS)
  • Maintain Class Schedules (ICRSC)
  • Publish Courses (RCRS)

Registrations

  • Maintain Class Registrations (ICRSE)
  • List Class Registrations (RCRSE)

Assess Individuals#

With the organization's competency level requirements in place, the organization may then assess the competencies of the current personnel and/or any potential external candidates.

  • Prepare Assessment (IRAS)
  • Schedule Assessment Events (IRSA)
  • Grade Assessment (IRGA)
  • View Assessment Event Schedule (DRASE)
