DEFINE CORE COMPETENCIES#
The Define Core Competencies (ICCC) form allows you establish and maintain core competencies within the system.Define Core Competencies data is maintained on the P2K_CP_CORE_COMPETENCIES and P2K_CP_COMPETENCE_CATEGORIES tables.
- Category
- This field identifies the competency by ‘type’, for instance if the competency is a math skill, a verbal skill, a software skill, etc.
- Competence Group
- This field identifies the ‘group’ for the competency category. The groups are supplied and include selections such as ‘General’, ‘Leadership’, ‘Technical’, ‘Problem Solving’, etc.
- Description
- This field provides a short description of the competency category.
- Competence
- This field is a user-defined code that uniquely identifies the competency being defined.
- Description

- Text
- This field allows you to provide further information about the competency. For example, you may define in detail the competency and explain its significance to the company.
- Sequence
- This field identifies the sequential order of competency levels. For example, the levels may be followed from lowest to highest.
- Level
- This field displays the title of the competency level being defined.
- Weighting
- This field indicates the value of a the competency level within the entity.
- Description
- This field provides a short description of the competency level being defined.
