ELEMENT_CODE is an optional 16-character alphanumeric field which holds the [element|PAY ELEMENTS] code assigned to uniquely identify the [element|PAY ELEMENTS]. [Elements|PAY ELEMENTS] are groups of [pay components|PAY COMPONENTS] that need to be tallied together to perform a specific calculation such as Taxes, UserCalcs, Benefits, etc...
