REQUISITIONS#
Requisitions are entered as postings through the Maintain Postings (IRPO) screen.The definition data for the Maintain Requisitions screen is stored in the P2K_RE_POSTINGS, and P2K_RE_JOB_PROFILES, P2K_RE_RECRUITING_COSTS tables.
'Maintain Requisitions'#
- Posting
- This field displays a user-defined code that uniquely identifies the posting. Posting_Code is a mandatory 16-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Job Profile
- This field identifies the job profile for which the posting is being created.Job Profile from IRJP (P2K_RE_JOB_PROFILES) is a mandatory field you must fill through the LOV (F9).
- Title
- This field allows you to give the posting a descriptive title.Posting_Title is a mandatory 50-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Manager
- This field identifies the manager of this posting.Manager from IEAS (P2K_HR_ASSIGNMENTS) is an optional field you must fill through the LOV (F9).
- Recruiter
- You may use this field to identify the recruiter for this posting.Recruiter from IRRE (P2K_RE_RECRUITERS) is an optional field you must fill through the LOV (F9).
- Entity
- This field displays the entity that is generating the posting.Entity from IDEN (P2K_CM_ENTITIES) is an optional field you must fill through the LOV (F9).
Maintain Postings (IRPO) - Postings#
The definition data for the Maintain Requisitions screen is stored in the P2K_RE_POSTINGS table.The following fields will usually be automatically filled once the ‘Position’ field has been completed. These values, however, may be changed in this screen.
- Status
- This field will display the status of the job posting. Posting_Status is a mandatory field you may fill with a selection from the fixed lexicon X_Posting_Status.
- Original Postings
- If this posting has been derived from another positing, that original posting will be listed here. Original_Posting from IRPO (P2K_RE_POSTING) is an optional field you must fill through the LOV (F9).
- Requisition Date
- This field will display the date for this requisition was created. Requisition_Date is an optional field you may fill either manually or using the calendar (F9).
- Posting Approved
- If this toggle is ON, the posting has been approved. Posting_Approved is an optional toggle field.
- Internal Opened
- This field will display the date the posting was open to internal candidates. Internal_Opened is an optional field you may fill either manually or using the calendar (F9).
- General Opened
- This field displays the date the posting was opened to external candidates. General_Opened is an optional field you may fill either manually or using the calendar (F9).
- Posting Closed
- This field displays the date the posting was closed to new applicants. Posting_Closed is an optional field you may fill either manually or using the calendar (F9).
- Posting Filled
- If the posting been filled, this field will display the date a candidate was hired. Posting_Filled is an optional field you may fill either manually or using the calendar (F9).
- Source
- This field provides a reason for the posting. Posting_Source is an optional field you may fill with a selection from the fixed lexicon X_Posting_Source.
- Priority
- The priority of the posting will be shown in this field. Posting_Priority is an optional field you may fill with a selection from the fixed lexicon X_Posting_Priority.
- Type
- This field allows you to define the nature of the posting. Posting_Type is an optional field you may fill with a selection from the fixed lexicon X_Posting_Type.
- Category
- This field allows you to classify the posting into a specific group. Posting_Category is an optional field you may fill with a selection from the user-defined lexicon X_Posting_Category.
- Req.FTE
- This field will show the FTE required for this posting. Required_FTE is an optional 9-character numeric field you may enter manually.
- Def.FTE
- This field shows the default FTE for this position used for forecasting and costing. Default_FTE is an optional 9-character numeric field you may enter manually.
- Filled FTE
- If this posting has been filled, this field will show the amount of FTE that has been filled. Filled_FTE is an optional 9-character numeric field you may enter manually.
- Position
- This field will display the position associated to this posting. Position from IDPS (P2K_CM_POSITION) is an optional field you must fill through the LOV (F9).
- Unit
- This field will display the unit associated with this posting. Unit from IDUN (P2K_CM_UNITS) is an optional field you must fill through the LOV (F9).
- Job
- This field will display the job associated with this posting. Job from IDJB (P2K_CM_JOBS) is an optional field you must fill through the LOV (F9).
- Department
- This field will display the department associated with this posting.
- Group
- This field will display the group associated with this posting. Group from IDGR (P2K_CM_GROUPS) is an optional field you must fill through the LOV (F9).
- Work Rule
- This field will display the work rule associated with this posting. Work Rule from IDWR (P2K_CM_WORK_RULE) is an optional field you must fill through the LOV (F9).
- Location
- This field will display the location associated with this posting. Location from IDLN (P2K_CM_LOCATIONS) is an optional field you must fill through the LOV (F9).
- Posting Text
- This field allows you to provide additional information about the posting. Posting_Text is an optional 4000-character alphanumeric field you may enter manually.
Maintain Postings (IRPO) - Assigment#
- Employment Type
- This field allows you to define the type of the employment for the assignment. Employment_Type is an optional field you may fill with a selection from the fixed lexicon X_Employment_Type.
- Responsibility Level
- This field identifies the level of responsibility for the assignment. Responsibility_Level is an optional field you may fill with a selection from the fixed lexicon X_Responsibility_Level.
- Language Class
- This field identifies the language(s) used in this assignment. Language_Class is an optional field you may fill with a selection from the user-defined lexicon X_Language_Class.
- Group Type
- This field displays the type of group for this assignment. Group_Type is an optional field you may fill with a selection from the fixed lexicon X_Group_Type.
- Work Type
- This field further groups the assignment into work types. Work_Type is an optional field you may fill with a selection from the user-defined lexicon X_Work_Type.
- WC Class
- This field identifies the workers compensation for this assignment. WC_Class is an optional field you may fill with a selection from the fixed lexicon X_WC_Class.
- Assign. Start Date
- This field will show the date the assignment is to start. Assignment_Start_Date is mandatory field you may fill either manually or using the calendar (F9).
- Assign. End Date
- If this assignment is date –sensitive, the last date of the assignment will be displayed here. Assignment_End_Date is mandatory field you may fill either manually or using the calendar (F9).
- Hours Per Day
- This field shows the average daily hours associated with this assignment. Hours_Per_Day is an optional 9-character numeric field you may enter manually.
- Hours Per Week
- This field shows the average weekly hours associated with this assignment. Hours_Per_Week is an optional 9-character numeric field you may enter manually.
- Range
- This field will show the salary range for this assignment. Range from ISSR (P2K_SA_SALARY_RANGES) is an optional field you must fill through the LOV (F9).
- Scale
- This field will show the wage scale for this assignment. Scale from ISWS (P2K_SA_WAGE_SCALES) is an optional field you must fill through the LOV (F9).
- Wage Rate
- This field will show the wage rate for this assignment. Wage_Rate is an optional 18-character numeric field you may fill manually.
- Rate Basis
- This field shows the rate basis that the wage is expressed in. Rate_Basis is an optional field you may fill with a selection from the fixed lexicon X_Rate_Basis.
Maintain Postings (IRPO) - Job Profile#
The definition data for the Job Profiles screen is stored in the P2K_RE_JOB_PROFILES table.The following fields will usually be automatically filled once the ‘Job Profile’ field has been completed. These values CANNOT be changed in this screen.
- Title
- This field displays the specific title of the job profile.
- Type
- This field displays the nature of the job profile.
- Status
- This field will display the status of the job profile.
- Job Purpose
- This field has been provided to allow you to describe the purpose of the job within the company.
- Job Function
- This field allows you to describe the function of and services provided by the job within the company.
- Prerequisites
- This field allows you to describe the required skills and experience need for this profile.
- Compensation
- This field allows you to define the compensation associated with this profile, such as salary, wage step, benefits, etc.
- How to Apply
- This field allows you to describe the process by which a candidate to this job would apply.
- Environment
- This field describes the work environment this job profile is situation in.
- Work Eligibility
- If the job profile is only open to a certain group(s), for example, only to unionized employees, that eligibility condition will be indicated here.
- EEO Statement
- This field allows you to include the equal employment opportunity statement with the posting for this work profile.
Maintain Postings (IRPO) - Requirements#
- Type
- This field defines the nature of the requirement.
- Description
- This field displays a short description of the requirement being defined.
- Category
- This field further categorizes the requirement.
- Start Date/End Date
- If the requirement is time sensitive, the first and last date needed will be displayed in these
- Priority
- This field ranks the requirement in order of priority for this job profile.
- Desired Prof.
- This field displays the level of proficiency preferred for this requirement.
- Essential Prof.
- This field displays the level of proficiency essential for this requirement.
- Text
- This field provides further details and information about the requirement being defined.
