RATE_BASIS is an optional field used to hold the unit of measure that the rate is being expressed in. Rate_Basis is used throughout the application, it may be used in regards to a wage rate, premium rate, sundry deduction rate, attendance or benefit deduction rates etc.
X_RATE_BASIS is a fixed lexicon with the following values:
