MAINTAIN PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT PROFILE#

Profiles are established and maintained on the Maintain Personal Development Profile (ICPD) form.

Maintain Personal Development Profiles data is maintained on the P2K_RE_CANDIDATES, P2K_CP_DEVELOPMENT_ACTIVITIES, P2K_CP_CLASS_SCHEDULES, P2K_CP_CAREER_OBJECTIVES, P2K_RE_ASSESSMENT_EVENTS tables.

Development Activity tab#

Candidate #: This field provides a code to identify the candidate. This field will automatically fill in if candidate sequencing has been defined in the Define Code Sequencing (IMCS) table. Candidates may be external to the company (i.e. job applicants) or internal (employees). CANDIDATE_CODE is an optional field.

Candidate: The name of the individual who is seeking job opportunities or is participating in training and/or development activities.

Candidate Status: This field shows the status of the candidate. The information for this field is information only and will default in from the IRCA form once the candidate has been selected.

Seq: This field identifies the sequential order of the development activity. Sequence is a mandatory 5-character numeric field you must fill manually.

Category: This field allows you to group the development activities. Category is an optional field that you may fill with a value from the user-defined lexicon (X_ACTIVITY_CATEGORY) provided.

Status: This field indicates the status of the development activity for the indicated employee.
e.g. Requested, Scheduled, On Hold

Activity_Status is a mandatory field that you must fill with a value from the fixed lexicon (X_ACTIVITY_STATUS) provided.

Type: This field allows users to group the development activities into types. Activity_Type is an optional field that you may fill with a value from the fixed lexicon (X_ACTIVITY_TYPE) provided.

Description: The ‘Description’ field provides a short description of the development activity being defined. Description is an optional 50-character alphanumeric field you may fill manually.

Program: This field displays the name of the program. Development_Programs is a mandatory field that you must fill with a value from the LOV (P2K_CP_DEVELOPMENT_PROGRAMS) provided.

Program Step: If this activity is part of a program, this field will indicate the sequential step of that activity within the program. Program_Step is an optional field that you may fill with a value from the LOV (P2K_CP_PROGRAM_STEPS) provided.

Course: This field provides the name of the course that is associated with this activity. Course is a mandatory field that you must fill with a value from the LOV (P2K_CP_COURSES) provided.

Assessment: This field displays the name of the assessment used for grading this activity. Assessment is a mandatory field that you must fill with a value from the LOV (P2K_RE_ASSESSMENTS) provided.

Starting: This field displays the start date of the activity. Activity_Start_Date is an optional field you may either manually enter or use the calendar (F9).

Ending: This field displays the end date of the activity. Activity_End_Date is an optional field you may either manually enter or use the calendar (F9).

Text: This field allows you to provide any additional information about the activity they may feel necessary. Activity_Text is an optional 4000-character alphanumeric field you may fill manually.

Duration: This field identifies the duration of the activity. Duration is an optional 9-character numeric field you may fill manually.

Basis: This field indicates the time basis for the duration given in the previous field. Duration_Basis is an optional field that you may fill with a value from the fixed lexicon (X_PERIOD_BASIS) provided.

Budget Amount: This field provides the budget amount that has been allocated for this activity. Budget_Amount is an optional 18-character numeric field you may fill manually.

Actual Amount: This field provides the actual amount that was spent on this activity. Actual_Amount is an optional 18-character numeric field you may fill manually.

Currency: This field indicates the currency that the amount traded in. Currency is an optional field that you may fill with a value from the fixed lexicon (X_CURRENCY) provided.

Classes tab#

Information for the Classes screen is maintained on the P2K_CP_CLASS_SCHEDULES table.

Class: This field provides the name of the class associated with this activity. Class_Code is a mandatory field that you must fill with a value from the LOV (P2K_CP_CLASS_SCHEDULES) provided.

Title: This field displays the title of the class. Class_Title is an optional 30-character alphanumeric field you may fill manually.

End: This field indicates the last day of the class. Class_End_Date is an optional date field you may fill with the calendar provided (F9).

Registration #: This field provides the registration number assigned to the class. Registration_Number is an optional 30-character alphanumeric field you may fill manually.

Registration Status: This field indicates the registration status of the employee for this class. Registration_Status is an optional field that you may fill with a value from the fixed lexicon (X_REGISTRATION_STATUS) provided.

Fee Schedule: This field displays the fee schedule for this course. Fee_Schedule is an optional field that you may fill with a value from the user-defined lexicon (X_FEE_SCHEDULE) provided.

Final Grade: This field displays the final grade the employee achieved with this course. Final_Grade is an optional 7-character numeric field you may fill manually.

Text: This field allows you to provide any additional information about the class they may feel necessary. REGISTRATION_Text is an optional 4000-character alphanumeric field you may fill manually.

Objectives tab#

Information for the Objectives screen is maintained on the P2K_CP_CAREER_OBJECTIVES table.

Seq #: This field identifies the sequential order in which the objectives should be met. Objective_Sequence is a mandatory 5-character numeric field you must fill manually.

Status: This field displays the status of the objectives. Objective_Status is a mandatory field that you may fill with a value from the fixed lexicon (X_OBJECTIVE_STATUS) provided.

Established: This field indicates when the objective was established. Date_Established is an optional field you may either manually enter or use the calendar (F9).

Obtained: This field displays the date that the objective was obtained. Date_Obtained is an optional field you may either manually enter or use the calendar (F9).

Description: The ‘Description’ field provides a short description of the objective. Description is an optional 50-character alphanumeric field you may fill manually.

Objectives: This field allows you to input any additional information they may have about the objective. Objectives is an optional 4000-character alphanumeric field you may fill manually.

Assessments tab#

Information for the Assessments screen is maintained on the P2K_RE_ASSESSMENT_EVENTS table.

Assessment: This field identifies the assessment assigned to this activity.

Event Status: This field shows the status of the assessment event.

Date/Time: If the assessment is a one-time event, this field displays the date and time that the assessment is planned for.

Rating: This field displays the rating that the employee received for this assessment.

Points: This field displays the points the employee received for this assessment.

Grade: This field gives the grade the employee achieved with this assessment.

Reviews tab#

Review #: This field identifies the review with a unique number. Review_Number is a mandatory 10-character numeric field you must fill manually.

Review Status: This field indicates the status of the review. Review_Status is a mandatory field that you must fill with a value from the fixed lexicon (X_REVIEW_STATUS) provided.

Overall Rating: This field displays the overall rating the employee received on this review. Overall_Rating is an optional field that you may fill with a value from the user-defined lexicon (X_OVERALL_RATING) provided.

Points: This field displays the overall points the employee was awarded for this review. Overall_Points is an optional 5-character numeric field you may fill manually.

Review Method: This field indicates the method used to review the employee. Review_Method is an optional field that you may fill with a value from the fixed lexicon (X_REVIEW_METHOD) provided.

Review Date: This field provides the date the review will be conducted. Review_Date is an optional field you may either manually enter or use the calendar (F9).

Next Review Date: This field provides the date of the next scheduled review. Next_Review_Date is an optional date field you may manually enter or use the calendar (F9).

Based on Prior Job: If the ‘Based on Prior Job’ toggle is on, this review has been based on a prior job the employee held.‘Based on Prior Job’ is an optional field.

Review Done By: This field provides the name of the individual who conducted the review. Review_Done_By is an optional 50-character alphanumeric field you may fill manually.

Review Comments: This field allows you to add any comments they wish about the review. Review_Comments is an optional 2000-character alphanumeric field you may fill manually.
