Review Time Sheets#
- Name (Code)
- Assignment
- Department
- Reports To
- Time Sheet #
- This field represents the unique code assigned to the time sheet.
- Assignment
- This field indicates which assignment code the time sheet was generated for.
- Starting
- The start of the time frame the time sheet was generated for is displayed in this field.
- Ending
- The last day of the time frame the time sheet was generated for is displayed in this field.
- Status
- The status of the time sheet is displayed here.
- # of Changes
- The number of time sheet exceptions for the time sheet in focus is captured here.
- Submit
- By pressing this action button the time sheet in focus will be marked as Submitted and will no longer be available for edit by the user.
Update/ View Time Sheet#
- Date
- This field represents the day that the time entry/exception was generated/entered for
- From
- This field represents the beginning time associated to the time code indicated (i.e. the start of the shift entry).
- To
- This field represents the ending time associated to the time code indicated (i.e. the end of the shift entry).
- Tot
- This field represents the total hours for the day.
- Reg
- This field displays the number of regular hours were recorded for the day.
- Hol
- This field displays the number of holiday hours were recorded for the day.
- Lv
- This field displays the number of leave type hours were recorded for the day.
- Oth
- This field will display the number of hours accumulated for the day that do not fall under one of the time code types listed in the table.
- OT
- This field displays the number of overtime type hours that were recorded for the day.
- Bnk
- If the hours were banked and an alternate time code was used, the alternate time code will display here.
- Premium(s)
- If a premium was added for the day, it will display here.
- Job/Position
- This field displays the job/position associated to the assignment indicated.
- Addtl Info
- This field displays any notes that have been entered for the exception.
- View Details
- By pressing this toggle the table will change to display each time sheet entry.
I Want To...#
- Add more time or an extra shift
- By pressing this button a dialog will appear allowing the user to add more to the time sheet.
- Change Normal Time or Schedule
- By pressing this button a dialog will appear allowing the user to change the start or end time of a time entry.
- Change What I Worked On
- The user may change the job/position that the employee worked on by pressing this button.
- Change or remove lunch
- The user may change or remove the lunch time slot.
- Record Time Away From Work
- If the employee was away and did not work their shift, the user may record the employee's time away by pressing this button.
- Add Premium
- If the a premium needs to be added to the shift for the employee the user may do so by pressing this button which will prompt them with a dialog.
- Add Mileage or Other Expenses
- By pressing this button the user will be presented with a dialog where they my enter expenses the employee incurred while working that shift.
- Request a Change to this Time Sheet
- The user may add a request for a change to the time sheet by pressing this button.
- Bank My Overtime
- By pressing this button the user may opt to bank the overtime incurred while working the shift.
Update/View Changes#
The user may update the time sheet or view changes to the time sheet in this tab.- Action
- This field indicates what 'action' the time exception is for. For e.g. Add'l Time/Shift
- Start
- This field indicates the start date of the time exception.
- End
- The end date of the time exception is indicated in this field.
- From
- This field represents the beginning time associated to the time code indicated.
- To
- This field represents the ending time associated to the time code indicated.
- Time Code
- This field will display the time code that the exception was generated against.
- Cost
- This field is used to associate a cost center to the time exception.
- Assignment
- This field will display the employee's assignment for which the exception is being entered.
- Position
- This field is used to override the position that is associated to the time exception.
- Job
- This field is used to override the job that is associated to the time exception.
- Shift
- This field will display the shift that the exception is being entered against. If the exception is to be entered for a different shift, then the timekeeper must select another shift from the LOV, otherwise the shift that is indicated in the time entries above will be used.
- Job Order #
- This field is used to associate a work order to the time exception.
- Value
- This field displays the value/amount of the time exception.
- Premium(s)
- This field displays the premium code associated to the time exception.
- Remarks
- This field is used to enter notes for the time exception.
