A230 Hired By in Month Qualification {optional}#
This component specifies the day by which an employee must be hired to receive first month’s entitlement and may be used when monthly entitlements are given.
Does the employee need to be hired by a specific day of the month in order to qualify for that month’s entitlement?
Yes: Choose the rule to be used
No: Go to A240
If employees are to receive full entitlement for their hire month, regardless of the day of hire, do not define this component for the policy. If not defined, this component is considered “not applicable” and the hire month will not used as a qualification.
