In order to run REEO1 for a set of employees, you must ensure that all the groups those employees belong to have a group type of "Full Time" or "Part Time" defined in the [IDGR] form. Any other group type will not be reported.

After REEO1 is run, an EEO1 Data File is generated. Users need to login to the following EEO website to upload the file to the government: http://www.eeoc.gov/eeo1survey/index.html
__Changes As of 2019__
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission now requires the EEO-1 Form to collect compensation data.
This change has been documented by the EEOC as 'Collection of 2017 and 2018 EEO-1 Component 2
Compensation Data'.
The REEO1 function has been updated to now create a data file in a CSV file format with the new required data.
In the ‘Component 2 EEO-1’ upload file layout (CSV File), job category, demographic group (defined by race,
ethnicity, and gender) and annual salary as reported by pay band are columns in the file along with number of
employees and hours worked. Each record in the upload file represents a unique combination of “job category
by demographic group by pay band” for each establishment.
New UDFs required for Users to setup:
These fields will be created the first time REEO1 is launched. Therefore, users should run the REEO1 first prior
to completing the additional required set up.

![IEID] – Maintain Identity Information
Ethnicity is used in EEO reporting as another major categorization of data for equal opportunity reporting. The employee’s ethnic category is set up on Maintain Identities Information ([IEID]). Ethnicity is predefined using the fixed lexicon [X_US_ETHNICITY] in the field US Ethnicity.

The REEO1 report utilizes system created user defined fields on found on both the [P2K_CM_LOCATIONS] and [P2K_CM_ENTITY_DETAILS] tables.

A tax jurisdiction must be defined for the EEO1 report. The jurisdiction must be defined at the County level as this will be the county name to report on the EEO1 Data File.

EEO1 File Name
- If "EEO1 File Name" is not provided, program will use UploadFileyyyyCCCCCCCC_mex.csv as file name (where 'yyyy' is the survey year, 2017 or 2018, and "CCCCCCC" is the 8-digit User ID
provided by NORC.
Date Range From/To
- Defines the date range to report on. Employees who are Active within this date range will be included in the report.
Employers will select a pay period between October 1 and December 31 of the reporting year, known as the workforce snapshot period.
The workforce snapshot period for the 2017 EEO-1 report would be an employer-selected pay period between October 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017.The
workforce snapshot period for the 2018 EEO-1 report would be an employer-selected pay period between October 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018.
