Recruiting Module (RE): Overview#

The Recruiting application allows you to identify vacancies, create requisitions/postings, attract candidates, conduct searches, process applications, schedule interviews, make job offers and fill job openings with the best candidates. In addition, the “new hire” process automatically turns chosen candidates into new employees and sets the stage for Human Resources to complete the personnel records.

  • The Recruiting application relies on both internally and externally managed data.
  • Candidate information can be submitted before and after job openings are available. Resumes may be held on file for future reference as long as desired.
  • Powerful search techniques are provided to match candidates to job openings. Current employees, prior employees and external candidates may be considered.
  • The system records the jobs a candidate has applied for or is interested in, and manages all candidates being considered for each job opening.
  • Applications are tracked through the selection process.
  • Employment work history is entered and verified; references are checked.
  • The amount of data that can be held in the system is extensive but you decide how much they wish to supply.
  • Interviews may be scheduled, conducted and documented; their results can assist in the screening process. An automated screening process provides hiring managers with prioritized lists of candidates.
  • The Recruiting application manages communications between hiring managers, candidates, interviewers and agencies.
  • It also provides the means to monitor recruitment costs and measure the effectiveness of the recruiting activity.
