DEFINE WORK PREFERENCE OPTIONS#

The Define Work Preference Options (IRWPO) allows the System Manager to define what options should be made available to the Candidates. Here they can determine which options should be made a requirement for the Candidate to fill in and which options can allow multiple values.

The page Work Preferences provides detailed information on how to define work preferences and how candidates and recruiters may use work preferences.

Seq
This is a mandatory field that provides the order that filters will be applied to LOVs. A work preference LOV is filtered by the other values with a smaller sequence. For example, if we have three options defined in IRWPO: State/Province – seq 10, Location – seq 20 and Job – seq 30. Initially each LOV will show the values for Open Posting only. State/Prov will show all the values for open postings and no other filter will be applied because it has the smaller seq number. Location list will show all the locations for open postings filtered by State/Prov if any value was selected and saved in database. Job LOV will show all the values for open postings filtered by State/Prov. and Location if selected
Option
This is a mandatory field. This is the name of the work preference option.
Item Name
This is a mandatory field that the user can fill from the LOV (F9). This field indicates the database item that is to be used as a work preference option for a candidate. If a column FK is set for this field a defined LOV for the parent table can be attached in IMFD.
Prompt
This is the field prompt which Candidates will see in WCRWP/WCRWPO. If no prompt is provided then the item name will be used.
Type
This is a mandatory field and the only selection available if Filter.
Required
This is an optional toggle. If the Administrator toggles this ON then the Candidate must select a work preference to be able to see a list of postings that match their selection.
Allows Multiple
This is an optional toggle. If this is ON then it will turn the Option into a multiple value field where more than one value may be selected

Used By Functions
This is a derived column added to show which functions are tied to a work preference item in IMFD. If the item is not tied to a function it may be removed as an option, and if it is tied to a function then it needs to be removed from that function first via IMFD.
Used By X Candidates
This is a derived column to show the number of Candidates who have made a choice for that work preference
View Candidates
This button will open the dialog below showing the list of Candidates who have made a choice for the work preference in focus
