DEFINE STATISTIC COMPONENTS#

Statistic Components may be used to store accumulative information regarding an employee. You may create and maintain the Statistic Components through the Define Statistical Components (IDSC) form.

Statistics can be maintained by direct entries into IEST or by populating a PC Code associated with the statistic.

Statistic Components data is stored in the P2K_CM_STATISTIC_COMPONENTS table.

Stat Code

This field holds the user-defined code that uniquely identifies the statistic.

Abbreviation

This field holds the descriptive name of the statistic.

Description

This field provides a short description of the nature of the statistic component.

Type of Field

This field classifies the statistic being defined into a specific type.

Update Action

This field allows you to either accumulate or replace the statistic. Setting this field to "Accumulate" will cause the value of the statistic to increase with each pay that is closed by the value computed. Setting this field to "Replace" will cause the value of the statistic to be set to the value computed.

This field displays the pay component associated to the statistic.

Abbreviation

This field holds the descriptive name of the pay component.
