DEFINE COUNTIES#
Counties are used to assist in setting up the government registrations for those county jurisdictions in which taxes are being collected. In addition, counties are used to filter school district pick-lists by eliminating those districts associated solely with another county.
This section explains the Define Counties (IDCN) screen and its associated fields.
This information is for U.S. installations only.
If the organization does not withhold county or school district taxes, the county information is not required.
A starter script is provided to load example counties for each state and additional examples for the states of OH and PA.
County data is stored in the P2K_CM_COUNTIES table.
