GR_ELECTRONIC_CONSENT_BY is a 30-character optional alphanumeric field that contains the name of the person that gave or withdrew the consent to produce electronic forms (T4’s or W2’s) for year end reporting. If the consent was done using Self Service, this will be the employee’s name. If the consent was done by the employer using the IEPT4 form, then this will be the name of the User.
