Electronic T4 Print Facility#

Employees can receive an electronic T4 form from Self Service.

Features#

• Employees can consent to printing their T4 form using Self Service – My T4 Consent WEPT4.
• Employees can withdraw the consent to receive electronic T4 forms as well using Self Service – My T4 Consent WEPT4.
• Employers can manage the consent for employees to receive electronic T4 forms using the Maintain Employees T4 Consent form IEPT4.
• The electronic T4 form RET4 will be printed in Self Service for the current year as well as previous years.
• Employers control which years are available for the employees to print with a Preference setup on the IMST form IMST.
• If employee has chosen to receive electronic T4 forms, using the consent forms WEPT4 or IEPT4, then the paper copy will not be printed during the T4 printing process RPT4.

Using the Employee Electronic T4 print Facility.#

In the Self Service system, the employee needs to determine if they want to receive electronic T4 forms. If they choose to, then they must enter their consent in the My T4 Consent form WEPT4 or the employer must turn on this consent for the employee in the form IEPT4. The employee will need to run the T4 form RET4, selecting the year they will to report. The output from the T4 Print form RET4 will be in a pdf file.

Set Up/Implementation#

Must setup on the Maintain Client Site Information form IMST – Preference tab, the Preference ‘EE_T4_GVT_RUN’ with the values of the GVT RUN#s that contain the information for the employee’s T4s (from the RPGRC run RPGRC. These GVT RUN#’s must be entered on this form with comma separators.
