Deduction Calculation Method#

This component determines how the deduction amount will be calculated.

Choose the rule that is used as the ‘Deduction Calculation Method’ rule.

The value of the element will be used as the
deduction amount.

Enrollment
Use the deduction amount from the employee’s
current enrollment detail or the <BC Value>
specified in the component.
The employee’s enrollment detail (IBEN) must
be initialized with a value, either by conversion
or manual input, or through the component
value.

B1000 as the contribution amount.

the deduction amount.
Rule used when the employee pays the total
premium.

Uses the specified value as a percentage to

deduction amount.
Rule used when the employee pays only percentage
of the premium.
This rule should not be used in conjunction with
contribution Rule 05 (B0810). Please use Rule
06 of component B1010 instead.

09Flex Cash Back OptionPlaces any unused portion of the flex credit
(B0930) into the component as a negative
amount.
The unused credit may be placed directly into a
pay component if it represents a dollar value or
it may be manipulated through a usercalc when
it represents a value of surplus points or credits.
