High Line provides a starter script to load example counties for each state and additional examples for the states of OH and PA. The nine-character GEO code (Geographic Code) is used as the key to determine tax rates for a particular geographical area. GEO codes are used in the county and tax jurisdiction definitions. The GEO codes are provided by Vertex Inc. and are used by their PayrollTax™ Calculator to calculate the appropriate taxes.
A starter script is provided to load example counties for each state and additional examples for the states of OH and PA.

When defining the county code, the last four digits should contain the value ‘0000’.
