UPDATE_FUTURE_RECORDS is an optional toggle field. If this toggle is ON, then the fields edited by the Personnel Action will also update effective date record(s) created after the date of the PA. If the toggle is OFF, only the effective date record that is in effect when the PA is processed will be affected. Note that if ON, only fields that are the same in the future-dated records will be changed. If, for example, the employee’s Wage Rate is different in the future-dated record, the system will not replace/override the Wage Rate, as this could overwrite an intended raise.
