ENTITY INTERFACE FILE#
The Entity Interface File screen is used to import entity codes and their attendant data into the software data structures.
Department Interface File data is maintained on the INF_CV_ENTITIES table.
- ID
- This field uniquely identifies the entity within the data base.
- Entity
- This field identifies the entity that is being imported.
- G/L Company
- This field identifies the G/L company associated with the entity.
- Parent Entity
- If the entity is part of another entity, that parent entity is listed in this field.
- Standing
- The standing of the entity is displayed in this field.
- Effective As Of/Expires On
- If the entity is only effective for a specific time period, the beginning and ending dates of that time period are listed in this field.
- Change Reason
- Any change reason associated with this entity is supplied in this field.
- Entity Name
- The official entity name is displayed in this field.
- Location
- The location of the entity is displayed in this field.
- Industry
- The industry associated with the entity is displayed in this field.
- Legislation
- The legislation the entity falls under is displayed here.
- Currency
- The currency associated with the entity is displayed in this field.
- Web Address
- The entity's web site address is displayed in this field.
Notes #
A Few Things:
Parent Entity is linked to PARENT_ENTITY, why not to 'ENTITY_CODE' like elsewhere where Parent Entity shows up?
'Candidate' - I can't find this field in INF_CV_COURSES page or in the IMCD screen, only 'Language'.
Duns Number...what is this?
