RECORD DISCIPLINARY ISSUES#

The Record Disciplinary Issues (ILDI) form allows you to record all disciplinary actions taken related to an employee. This screen will record details about the action such as type, status, and severity.

In addition, comments and correspondences related to the disciplinary action may also be recorded

The data information for the Record Disciplinary Issues screen can be found on the P2K_LR_DISCIPLINARY_ISSUES, P2K_LR_ISSUE_OCCURRENCES, P2K_LR_DISCIPLINARY_ACTIVITIES, P2K_LR_COMPLAINTS, and P2K_LR_GRIEVANCES tables.

Entity
This field identifies the entity associated with the disciplinary issue. Entity is from IDEN (P2K_CM_ENTITIES) is a mandatory field you may fill manually or by using the LOV(F9) provided.
Disciplinary Issue
This field is a user-defined code that uniquely identifies the disciplinary issue being defined. While you may define the disciplinary issue manually, there is also the option of setting this field to automatically assign a sequential number to each new complaint entered. You may set up this option through the IMCS screen. Discplinary_Code is a mandatory 16-character alphanumeric field.
Issue Type
This field classifies the issue into a specific type. Issue_Type from ILIT (P2K_LR_ISSUE_TYPES) is a mandatory field you may fill manually or by using the LOV(F9) provided.
Discipline Issued On
This field displays the date the disciplinary issue has recorded. Discplinary_Issue_Date is a mandatory field you may fill manually or with the calendar icon (F9).
Issue with EE
This field shows the employee for whom this issue is with. Issue_EE from IEEI (P2K_HR_EMPLOYMENTS) is a mandatory field you must fill with the LOV (F9).

Record Disciplinary Issues (ILDI) - Discipline#

Location of Incident#

Unit
This field identifies the unit where the incident occurred. Unit from IDUN (P2K_CM_UNITS) is an optional field you may fill manually or with the LOV (F9) provided.
Location
This field identifies the location of the incident. Location from IDLN (P2K_CM_LOCATIONS) is an optional field you may fill manually or with the LOV(F9) provided.
Department
This field identifies the department where the incident occurred. Department from IDDP (P2K_CM_DEPARTMENTS) is an optional field you may fill manually or with the LOV (F9) provided.
Job
This field identifies the job the employee held at the time of the incident. Job from IDJB (P2K_CM_JOBS) is an optional field you may fill manually or with the LOV(F9) provided.
Position
This field identifies the position the employee held at the time of the incident. Position from IDPS (P2K_CM_POSITIONS) is an optional field you may fill manually or with the LOV(F9) provided.

Status of the Incident#

Status
This field shows the current status of the incident. Status is an optional field you may fill using the fixed lexicon X_DISCPLINARY_STATUS.
Stage
This field shows the current stage of the incident. Stage is an optional field you may fill using the user-defined lexicon X_DISCPLINARY_STAGE.
Severity
This field identifies the severity of the incident. Severity is an optional field you may fill using the fixed lexicon X_DISCPLINARY_SEVERITY.

Closure#

Approved
If this toggle is checked, the closure for this incident has been approved. Approved_Toggle is an optional field.
Date Closed
This field indicates the date this disciplinary issue was closed. Discplinary_Date_Closed is an optional field you may fill manually or with the calendar icon (F9).
Cost
This field displays the cost of this issue. Discplinary_Cost is an optional 18-character numeric field you may fill manually.
Description
This field provides short description of the disciplinary issue. Description is an optional 50-character alphanumeric field.
Disciplinary Text
This field allows you to provide additional information about the incident. Disciplinary_Text is an optional 4000-character field you may fill manually.

Record Disciplinary Issues (ILDI) - Occurrence#

Date
This field shows the date of the incident. Occurrence_Date is a mandatory field you may fill manually or with the use of the calendar icon (F9).
Recorded by
This field will indicate the employee who recorded the occurrence. Recorded_By from the table IEAS is a mandatory field you may fill with the LOV (F9).
Occurrence Text
This field allows you to provide additional information about the occurrence. Occurrence_Text is an optional 3600-character alphanumeric field you may manually enter.
Occurrence Witness
This field allows you to recorded witnesses to the occurrence. Occurrence_Witness is an optional 3600-character alphanumeric field you may manually enter.

Record Disciplinary Issues (ILDI) - Activities#

The Activities tab will allow you to record all activities associated with the disciplinary issue. Data information for this tab can be found on the P2K_LR_DISCIPLINARY_ACTIVITIES.

Date
This field displays the date of the activity, for example, the date which a verbal warning was given. Discplinary_Activity_Date is a required field you may fill manually or with the calendar icon (F9).
Status
This field indicates the current status of the activity. Discplinary_Activity_Status is an mandatory field you may fill using the fixed lexicon X_DISCIPLINARY_ACTIVITY_STATUS.
Decision
If this activity involved a decision made regarding the incident, that decision will be displayed here. Discpline_Decision is an optional field you may fill using the fixed lexicon X_DISCPLINARY_DECISION.
Decision Date
The date of the decision will be displayed in this field. Decision_Date is an optional field you may fill manually or by using the calendar icon (F9).
Reviewed By
If this activity involves a review of the incident, the individual who did the review will be indicated here. Reviewed_By from the IEAS screen (P2K_HR_ASSIGNMENTS]) is an optional field you may fill with the LOV (F9).
Next Activity Date
This field displays the date of the next activity step in the process. Next_Activity_Date is an optional field you may fill manually or with the calendar icon (F9) provided.
Employer Statement
Any statement from the employer may be listed in this field. Employer_Statement is an optional 4000-character alphanumeric field you may fill manually.
Employee Statement
Any statement from the employee may be listed in this field. Employer_Statement is an optional 4000-character alphanumeric field you may fill manually.
Description
A further description of the activity may be listed in this field. Description is an optional 50-character alphanumeric field you may fill manually.
Next Activity Text
This field allows you to provide additional information regarding the next activity. Next_Activity_Text is an optional 4000-character alphanumeric field you may fill manually.

Record Disciplinary Issues (ILDI) - Complaint#

If the employee associated with this disciplinary issue has a complaint filed, that complaint information will appear in this tab. Once you identify the disciplinary issue in the ILCM (P2K_LR_COMPLAINTS) form, the information will default in.

Complaint
This field identifies any complaints from the employee listed in this disciplinary incident. This field is a user-defined code that uniquely identifies the complaint being defined.
Dispute Type
This field identifies the type of dispute under which this complaint falls.
Complaint Opened On
This field records the date the complaint was issued.
Complaint Status
This field indicates the status of the complaint.
Complaint Stage
This field is displays the stage of the complaint.
Severity
This field indicates the severity of the complaint.
Incident Date
This field displays the date the complaint incident took place.
Decision
This field shows the final decision made on this case.
Date Closed
This field shows the date of the complaint issue was closed.
Settlement
This field displays any settlement amount that may have come from this complaint.
Witnesses
This field allows you to provide additional information about the witnesses involved.
Description
This field allows you to provide a short description of the complaint.
Complaint Text
This field allows you to provide additional information about the complaint.

Record Disciplinary Issues (ILDI) - Grievance#

If the employee associated with this disciplinary issue has a grievance filed, that grievance information will appear in this tab. Once you identify the disciplinary issue in the ILGV (P2K_LR_GRIEVANCES) form, the information will default in.

Grievance
This field identifies the grievance of the employee.
Dispute Type
This field identifies the type of dispute under which this grievance falls.
Stage
This field defines the stage of the grievance.
Status
This field identifies the current status of the grievance.
Description
This field provides a short description of the grievance.
Severity
This field defines the severity of the grievance.
Issued Date
This field will define the issue date of the grievance.
Date Of Incident
This field record the date of the incident.
Decision
This field displays the decision made in for this grievance.
Date Closed
This field will display the date of the settlement.
Settlement
If settlement amount has come from this grievance, that amount will be listed here
Approved
If this toggle is ON, the settlement was approved.
Witnesses
This field displays all the witnesses to this grievance.
Text
This field provides additional information regarding the grievance.
