Employee Time and Exceptions#
The Employee Time and Exceptions (WMTSH) form is intended for managers so they may see scheduled time and time exceptions entered for their employees. This screen is calendar driven, meaning the Manager may select to see the scheduled time and exceptions for a selected week or month.
Daily Schedule#
The daily schedule for the employees who the Manager is responsible for will display below.
- Name
- The name of the scheduled employee will display here.
- Exceptions Summary
- This field will provide a summary of the type of time exception added.
- Shift
- The shift code the employee is working will display here.
- Start Time
- This field will display the start time of the employee's shift.
- End Time
- This field will display the end time of the employee's shift.
- O/R Shift Start Time
- If the start time of the shift has been overridden, the new start time will be reflected here.
- O/R Shift End Time
- If the end time of the time sheet has been overridden, the new end time will display here.
- Include Indirectly Managed Employees
- This toggle allows the Manager to extend the list of employees to include those he/she is indirectly responsible for.
Employee Exceptions#
This section allows the manager to add new time exceptions for the employee and to review existing time exceptions.
- Name
- The employee's full name appears in this field. The name defaults in from the time sheet in focus above.
- Time Exception Action
- The type of time exception being added may be selected from the LOV provided.
- Special Conditions
- The type of special condition may be selected from the LOV provided.
- Description
- The description of the time code tied to the special condition selected previously will display in this field.
- Start Time
- The start time of the time exception is entered in this field.
- End Time
- The end time of the time exception is entered in this field.
- Department
- The department code may be overridden by selecting from the LOV provided.
- Cost Center
- A cost center may be associated to the time exception.
- Audit Info
- Additional information may be provided for the time exception using this field.
Daily Leave Summary#
Non-Exempt Employees Only#
The manager may add a leave for the employee or may review already recorded leaves taken during the time frame of the time sheet.
- Name
- The employee's full name display here in this field.
- Special Conditions
- The manager may select from the provided LOV the appropriate Special Condition for the leave.
- Leave Type
- The leave type code associated to the time code selected from the Special Condition will default in this field.
- Start Date
- This field holds the start date of the employee's leave.
- End Date
- This field holds the end date of the leave.
- Start Time
- If the leave is for a particular time frame within a day, the start time of the leave may be entered here.
- End Time
- If the leave is for a particular time frame within a day, the end time of the leave may be entered here.
- Audit Info
- Additional information pertaining to the employee's leave may be provided using this field.
- Approval
- If the leave requires approval, it will display here.
- Include Indirectly Managed Employees
- This toggle allows the Manager to extend the list of employees to include those he/she is indirectly responsible for.
Daily Exempt Entries#
- Employee
- The employee's full name will display here.
- Leave Summary
- If a leave was entered for the employee, a summary of the employee's leave is displayed here.
- Special Conditions
- The special condition used to create the time exception is displayed here.
- Hours
- The number of hours the time exception was created for.
- Cost Center
- The cost center for the time exception is displayed here.
- Prem
- If a premium is associated to the time entry it will display here.
- Job
- The employee's job code will display in this field.
- Department Name
- The department the employee works in will display here.
- Time Sheet
- The employee's time sheet number is displayed in this field.
- Include Indirectly Managed Employees
- This toggle allows the Manager to extend the list of employees to include those he/she is indirectly responsible for.
Leaves#
The manager may add a leave for the employee or may review already recorded leaves taken during the time frame of the time sheet.
- Person
- The employee's full name display here in this field.
- Start Date
- This field holds the start date of the employee's leave.
- End Date
- This field holds the end date of the leave.
- Time Code
- Type
- The leave type code associated to the time code selected from the Special Condition will default in this field.
- Leave Time
- Projected Time
- Basis
- Approval
- If the leave requires approval, it will display here.
