Process Terminations#

The Process Terminations (WMETR) screen allows you to officially terminate an employee under your management by completing the termination details within their record.

The definition data for the Process Terminations screen is stored in the P2K_HR_EMPLOYMENTS and P2K_HR_ASSIGNMENT_DETAILS tables.

Name (Code)
This field identifies employees reporting to you by last and first name, followed by their person code/employee number.
Assignment
This field displays the employee’s current assignment title.
Department
This field displays the department where the employee is assigned.
Reports To
This field displays the employee’s supervisor. This individual is identified by last and first name, followed by their person code/employee number.
Show Indirect Employees
If this toggle is checked, the employees who report to you indirectly will be included in the list.
By clicking on one of the employees listed, you will be able to see further details about that assignment in the following fields.

Termination Details#

This area allows you to terminate the employee by completing the following fields.
Effective
This field displays the date the employee will be terminated from the company. (Mandatory)
Reason
This field displays the reason for the employee’s termination. (Mandatory)
Rehire Status
This field displays whether the terminated or laid off employee would ever be rehired or recalled in the future. (Mandatory)
Notes
This field defaults in the description associated to the termination reason.
I Want To
These buttons allow you to process or edit the termination of the employee.
Entity
This field displays the entity in which the employee works.
Unit
This field displays the unit to which the employee belongs.
Department
This field displays the department to which the employee belongs.
Group
This field displays the group to which the employee belongs.
Job
This field displays the employee’s job.
Position
This field shows the position that the employee holds.
Hire Date
This field displays the date the employee was originally hired into the entity.
Emp Status
The status of the employee’s assignment will be indicated here..
