Another variation of this time rule is to specify a percentage of total work time that an employee must work within the defined From and To times to qualify for the time code/premium.

[1] Minimum time worked to qualify

  • A number greater than or equal to 1 defines the minimum hours worked between the From/To time to qualify.
  • A number less than 1 defines a percent of total shift/day time worked between From/To time to qualify. Example .50 = 50%.

[2] Used only for the percentage version of this time rule. This is used as an additional indicator for the calculation of the total work time.

  • If no Value is defined, all of the work time in the entire day is used to calculate the total work time.
  • If more than 1 is defined, only the time between the From/To times is used to calculate the total work time. If an employee works on another shift in the same day, the time worked in that shift will NOT be included in the total work time. This field should be defined if there are multiple shifts within a day.

[3] The defined day of the week is taken into consideration, or if this field is null, it will be applied to all days.
