OT FLSA - Overtime FLSA#

Time Rule Overview#

This time rule will grant overtime when an employee works more than the the number of FLSA Hours, defined in IDGR, within the FLSA calendar period, defined in IDCL.

Requirements / Features#

  • Time Rule Type Code: OT FLSA

The FLSA Hours and the FLSA Calendar must be defined in IDGR.

Additional Info#

Band: multiple bands are NOT supported
  • Frequency predefined as Every Day

How it works (high level):#

  • Frequency is every day, but the calculation that determines if the overtime will be granted or not, is based on FLSA Calendar period.
  • FLSA Hours (IDGR) are used by this time rule to determine when the time rule will be applied.
  • FLSA Calendar (IDCL) as well as the FLSA Start Time, defined in IDWR OR the time rule From field, will determine when the calculation/application of the time rule starts and ends.

Implementation#

The time rule should be set up in IDWR as shown below.
