LOGGING IN (To ADMIN)

Access to the ADMIN application is restricted to authorized users. Tight security procedures are enforced to protect the integrity of the system.

Welcome Screen#

As soon as the application starts up, you will be presented with the welcome screen.

The Welcome Screen may be provided in an alternate language if the multilingual facility is being used.

To gain access to the application, you must supply the following valid credentials:
User Name
The user name uniquely identifies you and establishes the roles, capabilities and access rights that you have been authorized for. The user name is an up to 30 character alphanumeric mandatory field that is preassigned by your system administrator.
User Password
The password is a secured field known only by you that is used to authenticate your login. As you enter your password, the system fills the field with asterisks to keep it confidential. The user password is an up to 16 character mandatory encrypted field initially assigned by your system administrator. You have the ability to change this password yourself from within the application.

Passwords may be set to expire after a certain number of days. You will be warned in advance of the upcoming expiration. Upon expiration, you will be forced to change your password when you login.

Enter your user name and password then click OK. The following screen appears while the system is validating your credentials

If your credentials are not valid, you will receive an error message. You should correct the information and try to login again. You will be given a limited number of attempts to login successfully. After that, the session will terminate and you will be locked out for a period of time established by the system administrator.

Your Session#

Upon successful login, the Main Application Window (For ADMIN) appears and an application session is started. Think of the session as a conversation between you and the system. This session continues until you logout or you close the Main Application Window (for ADMIN).

If you leave the application unattended for a long period of time, it will time out and you will have to login again. The time-out period is set by your system administrator.

Logout#

Once you have completed your work, for security reasons, you should always logout of the application. Logout is done in any of the following ways:
