JOURNALIZING ENTRIES BY LEVEL OF TAXATION

It is possible within Personality to have amounts from taxation to be journalized into separate accounts depending on the state, county, city or school district that the employee is in. If you are paying employees in Michigan and Indiana and have separate general ledger accounts for each state then you need to journalize by the level of taxation.

You should set up IDGA account suffix information by state, county, GEO or school district. Please follow the G/L Suffix Logic explained previously.

Pay Component Usage - IPCU#

For the Pay Components that are to be separately journalized, the "PC GL Type" field on the PC Usage form needs to be completed.
