HOW TO END A COVERAGE IN IBEL#

1. Click on the Plan that is to be expired.
2. Change the Effective date to the first day of the next pay period that the plan/coverage is no longer in effect.
3. The Expiry date should be the End- of-Time date (31-Dec-3999).
4. Change the Election Status to ‘Remove'.
5. Save the election to update the enrollment (IBEN). The elected benefit's status will change to 'Not Yet Elected' as of the date it expired.
   

Employees who are terminated through IEHR will have all benefits expired, automatically, according to the benefit component rules established for each plan / coverage.
