DEFINE CODE SEQUENCES#

If auto numbering will be used for grievance codes, complaint codes and/or disciplinary codes, code sequencing will need to be defined. This can be done within the Define Code Sequence (IMCS) screen.

DEFINE PAY COMPONENTS#

Pay components need to be set up for union dues and/or initiation fees. This can be done on the Define Pay Components (IPPC) screen.

DEFINE PAY ELEMENTS#

Pay elements need to be set up for union dues and/or initiation fees. This can be done within the Define Pay Elements (IPPE) form.

DEFINE UNION CONTRACTS#

An important part of set up for the Labor Relations application is to define and review union information within the Maintain Units (IDUN) screen. This screen provides details about union agreements and contracts, identifies unions and contacts. In addition, this screen identifies the pay element that contains the pay components for union dues and initiation fees. Finally, you will be able to associate grievance rules to specified units.
