Employee Wage Rate {optional}#
The wage rate component is required to calculate the value of any earnings/amount used in the determination of benefit coverage.
Is a wage rate needed to calculate the eligible earnings/amount?
Yes: Choose the rule to be used
No: Go to B0320

| 00 | Use Wage from UserCalc Only | Specify the name of the <User Calc> on the component. The usercalc must be of the type `Function`, with a return value of the type `Numeric`. | 01 | Use Wage Rate Element | Specify the name of the <Element> on the com- ponent. The value of the element will be used as the wage rate. | B0320 | |
| 02* | Use Assignment Wage Rate | Use the FTE wage rate from the employee’s primary assignment (IEAS). | B0310 | |
| 03* | Use Enrollment Wage Rate | Use the wage rate from the employee’s current enrollment detail, or the <BC Value> specified in the component. The employee’s enrollment detail (IBEN) must be initialized with a value, either by conversion or manual input, or through the component value. | B0320 | |
