Service Length Evaluation Frequency#

This component indicates how often service is evaluated and is required when service is based on a date.

Choose the rule that is used as the ‘Service Length Evaluation Frequency’ rule.
RuleDescriptionLogicAssoc.Go to
01*Every Time Policy is EvaluatedRe-calculates the employees’ service length every time the Policy is evaluated. Uses the difference between the evaluation date and the service date to calculate the length of service. Causes the service length to change part way through a leave policy year if the employee reaches the anniversary of their service date, or their service date is changed. Changing the service length may cause the accrual rate to change part way through the leave policy year. Used when accruals are given more frequently than once a year, for example, by month or pay period, or when service date adjustments often occur.
