If the employee clocks in earlier before the shift starts, and the time is before the shift starts is greater than the value defined in the band (e.g. 10 minutes before the shift starts) than that band time before shift will be replaced with the time code defined on the time rule. In case the employee should not have this TR applied the waiving mechanisms should be used.
If the employee clocks in earlier than the start time of the shift (e.g. 10 minutes before the shift starts), and the difference between the clock in time and shift start time is greater than the value defined in the band on the time rule than the time within the band before the shift will be replaced with the time code defined on the time rule.

If the employee punches in less than 10 min prior to the start of the shift they should just round to the start of the shift and not receive roll call time. If the employee punches in on time to receive roll call but does not attend then a timekeeper will manually remove the awarded time from the employee.”
