Steps to Remove an Employee (technical steps)#
Note that not all steps may be necessary.- Network User
- Tech to disable user's Active Directory entry
- FTP
- Tech to remove user, on Pandora in Filezilla Server interface
- Deactivate/Forward email address on ExchangeServer
- Remove to any Aliases (mail distribution lists) required
- CCare
- Blank out password and remove [X] available toggle for Agent in CCare.
- WebEx
- Deactivate user, in the site administration / Edit User List page
- Knowledgebase Wiki
- Remove user through the Brevis Oracle Enterprise Manager, following steps below
- ReleaseWiki
- If user is customer facing and has access to the Release information, follow the steps below (Administrator required)
- LastPass
- Remove user from LastPass using admin console. (Administrator required)
- PD Only
- Remove/Deactivate SVN user
Removing User on the Knowledgebase Wiki#
- Connect to the Brevis enterprise manager and sign in
- Click on the Wiki Application
- Click on the Administration Link
- Click on the Security Providers icon
- Click on the Instance Level Security button
- Click on Realms
- Click on the number under Users
- Click on the trash can beside the user name (under the delete column)
- Click Yes
Removing a User from the ReleaseWiki#
1. In the Admin Interface, on the Groups tab- Click the HighLine link (also reached from HighLine Employees link at left)
- Select Edit group tab
- Remove the line with the user name
- Click Save group
- Navigate to d:\Release\Configuration in Explorer
- Open userdatabase.xml with a text editor
- Locate the line with the user name.
- Delete the entire <user ....> </user> tag
- Save the file
