SALARY MATRICES#
This form is specifically designed to support the Matrix Mass Wage Update (USMCSA)process and allows a step within a scale to be associated to a cell within the matrix. This process allows the steps of several different scales to be updated when one cell is changed.Define Rate Matrices data is maintained on the P2K_SA_RATE_MATRICES and P2K_SA_RATE_CELLS tables.
- Rate Matrix
- This field holds the name of the matrix. Rate_Matrix_Code is a mandatory 16-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Rate Basis
- This field defines the time period (hour, day, week, year) used with the with the premium rate entered. Rate_Basis is a mandatory fixed field (X_RATE_BASIS) that you must complete with a selection from the lexicon.
- Description
- You may enter a description of the matrix created in this field. Description is an optional 50-character alphanumeric field that may be manually entered.
- Cell Number
- You may define the cell with a numeric code in this field. Cell_Number is a mandatory 5-digit numeric field that you must enter.
- Cell Value
- This field displays the value of the cell. This will become the amount of the step to which the cell is associated. Cell_Value is a mandatory 18-digit numeric field that must be entered.
