MAINTAIN EMPLOYEE DAILY TIME CARD (DTEDC)#
Purpose of DTEDC#
The Maintain Employee Daily Time Card (DTEDC) form is used as a dual purpose screen in which to enter an employee’s daily worked time. It is used first for the purpose of manually entering time from paper time cards and second, to enter time from an employee time clocking device.
This screen provides quick and simple data entry of daily worked time. Features included:
- control (batch) creation
- system preference settings
- sundry type items
- time rule waivers
- meal validations
Data will be keyed into the Time Exceptions table for DTEDC, from sets of time cards. The data in the Time Exceptions table then needs to be verified against manually calculated totals from the original set of time cards. As time exceptions are inserted, they are associated to a control number.
The definition data for the Maintain Employee Daily Time Card screen is stored in the following tables: P2K_HR_ASSIGNMENTS, P2K_TS_TIME_EXCEPTION_CONTROLS, P2K_PR_TIME_SHEET_ENTRIES, P2K_TS_TIME_EXCEPTIONS
Calendar#
Dynamic calendars are used in the DTSH form to allow companies to specify the start of the work week.In the Preference tab of IMST, clients must add 1ST_DAY_OF_WEEK(System_Preference) preference with a value of 1 through 7, where 1 represents Sunday and 7 represents Saturday.
The clock entry information below the calendar is derived based on the date in focus on the calendar.
