Station Posts identify the jobs that must be performed within the work station, ranked by seniority.
A list of jobs required within a work station ranked in the order they must be filled (based on level of responsibility, skill and pay), is also known as a promotion line or line of progression. A station post is a job done by an individual person; it may be full-time or part-time, mandatory or optional. This is used as a ‘line of progression’ to rank the jobs necessary to fill a workstation. Ranks may be used during call-in or replacement situations as well as scheduling to move employees up/down the line of progression for the workstation.
;[Rank|STATION_POST_RANK]: This field indicates the order in which the replacement job being defined will fill the position. If a job is ranked as `1' it will be chosen as the first to fill this position, etc. Replacement_Rank is a 5-character numeric mandatory field you must manually enter.
;Job/Unit: This field displays the job and unit associated with this station post. The Job Unit field is tied to an LOV where the user may select a Job/Unit value from the LOV(F9) provided.
;[Department|DEPARTMENT_CODE]:The department that the station post is a part of will be identified in this field. Department from [P2K_CM_DEPARTMENTS] is a 10-character alphanumeric mandatory field you must either manually enter or select a value from the LOV(F9) provided.
;[Must Be Present|MUST_BE_PRESENT] / [Must Be Scheduled|MUST_BE_SCHEDULED]: Both the `Must Be Present' and `Must Be Scheduled' toggles are future features. However, at the present time, if either toggle is ON, the system will automatically pair station posts with work teams to screen team posts.
;[Description|DESCRIPTION]: This field provides a short description of the station post. Description is a 50-character alphanumeric optional field you may manually enter.
;[Job Title|JOB_TITLE]: This field will display the title of the replacement job. You cannot edit the field from this screen. This information will default once the Job/Unit field has been selected.
;[Replacement Rule|REPLACEMENT_RULE]: If the job in the station post is vacant and must be replaced, the replacement rule is designed to give you detailed information regarding how to make the replacement. ;[Required WSE|REQUIRED_WSE]: `Required Work Shift Equivalent (WSE)' is the measure of work to be done in a station post in one shift. WSE allows control of the number of full time employees required on any workstation for any shift. If the post requires a full-time person the WSE will be 1. If the post requires a person only half time, the WSE will be .5 Required_WSE is a 9-character numeric optional field you may manually enter.
;[On Teams|DRV_TEAM_POST_COUNT]: The `On Team' field is a view only field representing the number of teams for this station post. Post to all Work Teams button. The 'Post to all Work Teams' button adds this particular work station to all [work teams|WORK TEAM].

!!Work Teams tab
[Work Teams|WORK TEAM] identify the crews that are needed to fill the posts in the workstation. They are used to create a link between a workstation and the shifts required to fill that station. Teams are the set of employees that work together in a work station on the same shift rotation, often led by a team leader or lead hand. In a shift environment, each work station has its own work team for each shift. Teams are defined with a general start and end date (to allow the shifts defined for a work team to change over time), a shift pattern (created on Maintain Shift Patterns (ITSP)), and a ‘relative start day’.
;[Work Team|WORK_TEAM_CODE]: This field identifies the `[Work Team|WORK TEAM]' employed in the Work Station or associated to the Team Post.
;[Start Date|START_DATE]: The beginning date of a time frame for this data.
;[End Date|END_DATE]:The beginning date of a time frame for this data.

For instance, on August 22, one team may start on the 1st day (Aug 22) of an 8-day shift pattern while another team would start on the 3rd (Aug 24) day of that same pattern.

There may be a work requirement for a specific day of the week for a specific shift that must be manned, this tab gives you the ability to set that requirement. This information can work with the Leave Bidding Process.
