Enable Auditing is used to enable/disable system-wide Change Auditing (change logging) which by default is turned off.

However, before enabling auditing/logging you should perform some analysis on the system to see exactly what you want to track changes for otherwise the Change Logs will become excessively large and difficult to deal with.
