X_VALIDATION_METHOD is a fixed lexicon with the following values:

| MIX | Java and SQL | Both P2K and Personality passwords are generated (Recommended) |
| P2K | SQL | Only P2K passwords are generated |
| SHA | Java Version SHA-1 | Only Personality passwords are generated (using the SHA-1 algorithm) |
