MAINTAIN SCHEDULERS TEAM POST ASSIGNMENTS#

The WSTTP form allows an employee with the Scheduler (WWW_SCHEDULER) business role to maintain and update their Team Post Assignments. The employee can select a Work Station and Work Area from the Find List.


Rank ) Job / Department
This field derives the rank, job and department from the station post.
Work Team
This field is used to specify the work team for the station post.
Post Owner
This field is a derived field which displays assignment information of the worker who owns the post.
Relative Day
This field indicates which day of predefined shift a team would begin with. For instance, on August 22, one team may start on the 1st day (Aug 22) of an 8-day shift pattern while another team would start on the 3rd (Aug 24) day of that same pattern.

Team Post Info#

Team post assignments are date sensitive.

Each post assignment is for a single person for a specified WSE or it may be “vacant”.

Post assignments cannot exceed the WSE on the station post definition.

An employee’s total post assignments, cannot exceed the FTE on their assignment file.

Employees can only be assigned during periods where their employment status type is “active”.

Station Post
The Station Post details are listed here.
WSE
The Assigned WSE (Work Shift Equivalent) is the measure of work to be done in a station post in one shift. WSE allows control of the number of full time employees required on any workstation for any shift.
Assignment
The user may select an employee from the list to record they are the team post owner.
Override Shift Pattern
The user may override the shift pattern by selecting a different pattern from the list.
Start Date
The start date of the shift may be provided here.

Qualified Employees#

This tab displays the employees that are qualified to fill this post based on the details for this Team Post and the information in the Workers screen.

Using the "Schedule Into Post" button you can schedule the employee into a vacant post from this tab.

Worker#

Employee
This field displays the employee's full name and their person code.
Seniority Date
The employee's seniority date defaults in.
Owns Team Post
If the employee owns a team post, it will be displayed here.

Employee
The employees name and person code will be displayed here.
Schedule Into Post
This button allows the user to schedule a qualified worker into the highlighted post.

Post Exceptions#

This tab displays any exceptions to the Team Post.

Ability to set up an exception for a period of time to utilize a different Job, Position, Department, Work Rule or Cost Center.

Type
This field is used to record the type of exception that is created for the post. The field is tied to the fixed lexicon X_TIME_EXCEPTION_TYPE.
Start Date
This field is used to record the start date of the exception.
End Date
This field is used to record the end date of the time exception.
Start Time
The start time is recorded in this field.
End Time
The end time of the exception is recorded in this field.

Position
The position code of the employee's scheduled post may be overridden for the time exception by selecting a position from the list.
Job
The job code of the employee's scheduled post may be overridden for the time exception by selecting a job code from the list.
Department
The department of the employee's scheduled post may be overridden for the time exception by selecting a department from the list.
Work rule
The work rule of the employee's scheduled post may be overridden for the time exception by selecting a work rule from the list.
Cost Center
The cost center may be overridden by selecting a cost center from the list.

Enable Overtime#

This tab allows the scheduler employee to enable overtime time rules for the station post in focus above.
Time Rule Type
A list of available time rules is available to select from.
Start Date
A start date the time rule is in effect for
End Date
An end date the time rule is no longer in effect for
Enable
A toggle that enables the time rule to be in effect.
