VIEW APPLICATIONS BY POSTING#
The View Applications by Posting screen allows you to view all the applications submitted to the company, listed by posting.
This section explains the View Applications by Posting screen and its components. You may use this screen to track the progress of the various stages and steps (with dates and reasons) of the application process, including rejections or hires.
The information for this screen is supplied when candidates apply for a posting. Internal and external candidates apply through the Search Open Postings (WCRPO) screen.
Postings are listed along with a count of how many applications have been submitted to that particular posting. This information is identified with the following fields:
- New
- This field displays the number of new applications submitted for the posting. When first created an application is defined as `new' in Personality, marked with an Application Status of `New Application', and the counted in the New Appl field.
- Posting #
- This field displays the posting code that uniquely identifies the posting within the system.
- Posting Title
- This field displays the official title of the posting.
- Posting Type
- This field indicates whether the application is from an employee (internal) or an external candidate or both.
- Cancelled
- This field displays the number of applications made to the posting which were subsequently cancelled.
- Total
- This field displays the number of applications submitted for the posting. This figure is the TOTAL number of applications, including the number of new applications listed in the next field.
By clicking on one of the postings listed, you will be able to see further details about the applications made to that posting.
Applications#
- Status
- This field displays the current status of the application. This field is tied to the lexicon X_APPLICATION_STATUS.
- Opened
- This field displays the date the application was open to candidates.
- App #
- This field displays a code that uniquely identifies the application. This code may have been user-defined or Automatically generated.
- Cand #
- This field displays the unique code assigned to this applicant as a candidate.
- Applicant
- This field displays the name of the individual who is applying for the posting.
- Stage
- This field provides a short description of the stage that the application is at.
- Step
- If the stage is broken down into specific steps, the step that the candidate is currently on will be displayed in this field.
Application Details#
- Stage
- This field defines the exact stage in the process for this application. This field is tied to the lexicon X_APPLICATION_STAGE.
- Closed
- This field displays the last date candidates could submit their applications.
- Rating
- This field displays the rating this application received for the posting. This field is tied to the lexicon X_APPLICATION_RATING.
- Title
- This field displays the title of the assignment for which this posting is recruiting.
- Assign to Start
- The first date of the assignment is indicated in this field.
- Assign to End
- If the assignment is date effective, the last date of the assignment will be indicated in this field.
Assessments#
If assessments have been taken by the candidate they will be displayed here in this section.
- Assessment Date
- This field displays the date the assessment occurred.
- Assessment
- This field defines the exact assessment the candidate will be or has taken.
- Posting
- This field displays the posting associated with the assessment.
- Application
- This field displays the application associated with the assessment.
- Status
- This field displays the current status of the assessment event.
Assessment Details#
- Rating
- This field displays the rating the candidate received for this assessment.
- Points
- This field displays the points the candidate obtained in this assessment.
- Final Grade
- This field displays the total amount of points the candidate achieved with this assessment.
- Assessment Info
- This field displays additional information about the assessment.
- Application Info
- This field may be used to provide additional information about the application.
- HIRE CANDIDATE
- If a candidate’s Application Status has been set to ‘Approved for Hire’, this button will appear at the bottom of the screen allowing you to start the hire process.
As each client will have a different application procedure to follow, changing the Application Status of a candidate will need to be done in Personality in the Candidate (IRCA) screen.
