VIEW APPLICATIONS BY CANDIDATE#
The View Applications by Candidate screen allows you to view all the applications submitted to the company, listed by candidate.
You may use this screen to track the progress of the various stages and steps (with dates and reasons) of the application process, including rejections or hires.
The information for this screen is supplied when candidates apply for a posting. Internal and external candidates apply through the WCRPO screen.
Each candidate will be listed and described the following fields:
- Candidate #
- This field displays the candidate code that uniquely identifies the candidate within the system.
- Last Name
- The candidate’s last name is displayed in this field.
- First Name
- This field displays the first name of the candidate
- Candidate Type
- This field identifies the candidate as either internal or external.
By clicking on any of the candidates, you will be brought immediately to a screen providing full details about their application.
A summary total of applications the candidate has made will be displayed.
- Total
- This field displays the number of applications the candidate has submitted. This is the TOTAL number of applications, including the number of new applications listed in the next field.
- Canceled
- This field displays the number of applications the candidate made which were subsequently canceled.
- New
- This field displays the number of new applications submitted for the posting. When first created, an application is defined as ‘new’ and marked with an application status of ‘New Application’, and the counted in the New Appl field.
The specific applications are listed and described through the following fields.
Applications#
- App #
- This field displays a code that uniquely identifies the application. This code may have been user-defined or automatically generated.
- Posting
- This field displays the code which uniquely identifies the posting within the system.
- Opened
- This field indicates the first date the application was opened.
- Posting Title
- This field displays the descriptive title of the posting.
- Description
- This field provides a short description of the application.
- On Step
- If the stage is broken down into specific steps, the step that the candidate is currently on will be displayed in this field.
By clicking on one of the applications listed, you will be able to see further details about that application in the following fields.
Application Details#
- Status
- This field indicates the status of the application.
- Closed
- This field indicates the date the application was closed.
- Rating
- This field displays the rating this application received for the posting.
- Title
- This field displays the title of the assignment for which this posting is recruiting.
- Start Date
- The first date of the assignment is indicated in this field.
- End Date
- If the assignment is date sensitive, the last date of the assignment will be indicated in this field.
- Details
- This field provides further information about the application.
Assessments#
If
assessments have been taken by the candidate they will be displayed here.
- Assessment
- This field defines the exact assessment the candidate will be or has taken.
- Date
- This field displays the date and time the assessment occurred.
- Status
- This field displays the current status of the assessment event.
- Points
- This field displays the points the candidate obtained in this assessment.
- Grade Rating
- This field displays the total amount of points the candidate achieved with this assessment.
- Rating
- This field displays the rating the candidate received for this assessment.
- Assessment Info
- This field may be used to provide additional information about the application.
- HIRE CANDIDATE
- If a candidate’s Application Status has been set to ‘Approved for Hire’, a button will appear at the bottom of the screen allowing you to start the hire process.
As each client will have a different application procedure to follow, changing the Application Status of a candidate will need to be done in Professional in the Candidate (IRCA) screen.
