Review Time Cards#
The Review Time Cards form (WMPTS) is a form intended for managers so they may review and if necessary update their employees' time cards. The form will only show time sheets that are hours based and those that are of the following statuses: Scheduled Modified, Active, Rules Applied, Submitted and Ready for PR.
The manager must select the employee from the find list below.
- Name (Code)
- This field will display the employee's full name along with their person code.
- Assignment
- The assignment the time sheet was generated for will display here.
- Department
- The department associated to the time sheet is displayed.
- Reports To
- The manager whom the employee directly reports to will display here.
- Show Indirect Employees
- This allows the user to see employees who report to them indirectly.
Once the manager has selected an employee, the employee's time cards will be listed in the table below for the manager to select from.
- Time Card #
- This field represents the unique code assigned to the time card.
- Assignment
- This field indicates which assignment code the time card was generated for.
- Pay Period
- This field indicates the pay period the time card was generated for.
- From/To
- The time frame the pay period is for is displayed here.
- Status
- The status of the time card is displayed here.
- Submit
- By pressing this action button the time card in focus will be marked as Submitted and will no longer be available for edit by the user.
- EE Sign Off Received
- The user may indicate that the employee has signed off on their time card by pressing this button.
- Approve
- If the manager is in agreement with the time card they may press this button to approve the time card.
The time card is displayed by day. Depending on how the employee's work rule is defined to generate the time card, the hours worked by the employee will display by day or the employee may be required to enter each day's worked hours.
Update Time Card#

- Add More Time
- This button allows the user to add additional time to a day where an employee is already scheduled or to add time to a day where an employee is not already scheduled.
- Record Time Away From Work
- This button allows the user to replace scheduled hours with a leave that was not requested ahead of time.
- Clear Changes (by Day)
- This button when pressed will allow the user to remove any changes that may have been entered.
- Add Mileage or Other Expenses
- This button allows the user to add a premium or time code with a specified amount provided by the employee; not associated to time.
- Change What Was Worked On
- This button allows the user to replace the details regarding what the employee worked on.
- Add a Premium
- This button will add a premium to a specific number of hours.
- Bank My Overtime
- This button will allow the user to enter a preference that will change the payment of any overtime entered to a new Time Code/Pay Component that gets banked instead.
- Request a Change to this Time Card
- This button will allow the user to add a request to change the detail of their time card.
Time Card Summary#
- Pay Period Totals
- This button will change the type of totals displayed in the tables below to show Pay Period Totals.
- Weekly Totals
- This button will change the display to show totals on a weekly basis.
All Time Codes#
This section provides totals for all time codes indicated on the employee's time card.
- Date
- This field will display either the week end date or the pay period end date depending on the selection made above under Time Card Summary.
- Time Code
- The total for the time code either for the week or pay period is for will display here.
- Amount
- The total value of the time code either for the week or pay period will display here.
- Description
- The description of the type of time and time code used will be displayed.
All Time Types#
This section provides totals for various time types.
- Date
- This field will display either the week end date or the pay period end date depending on the selection made above under Time Card Summary.
- Time Type
- The type of time the time code is defined as will be displayed here.
- Amount
- The total amount of time for the time type for the week or pay period will display here.
- Description
- The description of the time type is displayed here.
All Time Code Set#
This section provides totals based on the time code sets defined.
- Date
- This field will display either the week end date or the pay period end date depending on the selection made above under Time Card Summary.
- Time Code Set
- The name of the time code set will be displayed here.
- Amount
- The total amount of time for the week or pay period for the time code set will display here.
Leave Balance Summary#
This section displays a summary of the employees leave balances.
- Bank
- The leave policy code will display here.
- Description
- The description of the leave policy is displayed.
- Planned
- If the employee has a planned leave for the policy, the number of leave hours is displayed.
- Balance To Date
- This field will display the employee's leave balance.
View Requests#
The manager may view all of the requests entered for the time card in focus.
- #
- This is the system assigned request number for the comment that was added.
- Status
- This field displays the status of the request
- Sent On
- The date the comment / request was created is displayed in this field.
- Synopsis
- The synopsis of the comment / request is displayed here.
- Request Text
- The actual text of the comment / request is displayed in this field.
Activities on Request Above
- Type
- The type of action fulfilled of the request activity is displayed here.
- Sent On
- This field displays the date the activity was created.
- Entered By
- The name and person code of the individual who entered the activity is displayed here.
- Comments
- The text of the activity is displayed in this field.
I Want To...#
- Complete Request
- The user may wish to complete a request opened by the employee, by pressing this button the user will be prompted with a dialog where they may add an activity completing the request.
- Deny Request
- The user may deny the employee's request by pressing this button which will prompt them with a dialog where they may add an activity to deny the request.
- Add a Comment
- The user may add an activity providing comments on the request by pressing this button.
