Modifying the Org Chart#

WEOC has a specific form layout. The Maintain Form Definitions screen should not be used to alter the preloaded layout.
LayoutDefinitionExample
ORG_HEADERUsed to contain 3 form items which will be shown in the top portion of each hierarchy node above the line. The 4th form item EASD.DRV_DIRECT_REPORTS is used to show how many people report to that particular person. The employees profile picture will automatically show up in the Org Chart. If the employee has no profile picture then no image will be shown. WEOC-fig2.png
ORG_DETAILSHolds columns to show in the bottom portion of each hierarchy node below the dividing line.WEOC-fig3.png
ADD_SEARCHABLE A group to hold "additional searchable" columns. These columns are not displayed in the org chart but are included as column in the search feature located in the top right corner of the Org Chart Screen in Self Service.WEOC-fig6.png

Displayed-IconDefinitionExample
Double Up ArrowThis will relocate the org chart back to the top after it was moved around manually or relocated after a search.
Search BoxProvides user to enter quickly a detail they would like to look for in the org chart. Values entered here are searched for in all items included in the three definition form groups mentioned above. (ORG_HEADER, ORG_DETAILS, ADD_SEARCHABLE.)
Right Arrow with Circle This is a button to execute the search. You can also press the "Enter" button on your keyboard to execute the search.
The "X" Clears the last search results from the results list
Three Horizontal Bars Will open a panel for additional filters which include all items in the previously mentioned groups (ORG_HEADER, ORG_DETAILS, ADD_SEARCHABLE.) allowing a value to be entered for continuous filtering for subsequent searches. So for example if one of the columns is department and a department code is entered. When the user enters a name in the search box and executes the search… The search facility will search for all users with the name from the search box AND that are in the department entered. The details in the search box may be changed easily with the department filter remaining for each search.WEOC-fig7.png
Right Chevron - Search ResultsAfter execution of a search the results will be listed below the search results title. Each person found may be clicked upon causing the org chart to find that person and put that person Node into focus.WEOC-fig8.png
GearUsed to show the org chart setup controls. This dialog contains several options which may be utilized to customize how the org chart is used. The controls will be used as long as the user does not leave the org chart. Upon re-entering the org chart the original default controls will be back in place.WEOC-fig9.png
