!!!Organization Chart The Org Chart is a graphical view of the management hierarchy. It uses Departments, Positions, Assignments to comprise the data shown. The Org Chart has a search feature to find specific people as well as filter to help show only specific information. The Org Chart is modified via the [WEOC - Organization Chart|WEOC] Screen. \\ \\ !!Modifying the Org Chart [WEOC] has specific lay outs for its form groups. \\ %%zebra-table ||Layout||Definition||Example |ORG_HEADER|Used to contain 3 form items which will be shown in the top portion of each hierarchy node above the line. The 4th form item EASD.DRV_DIRECT_REPORTS is used to show how many people report to that particular person. %%information *Please note* The employees profile picture will automatically show up in the Org Chart. If the employee has no profile picture then no image will be shown.%% | [WEOC-fig2.png] |ORG_DETAILS|Holds columns to show in the bottom portion of each hierarchy node below the dividing line.|[WEOC-fig3.png] |ADD_SEARCHABLE| A group to hold "additional searchable" columns. [WEOC-fig6.png] \\ ||Icon||Definition||Example |Double Up Arrow|This will relocate the org chart back to the top after it was moved around manually or relocated after a search. |Search Box|Provides user to enter quickly a detail they would like to look for in the org chart. Values entered here are searched for in all items included in the three definition form groups mentioned above. (ORG_HEADER, ORG_DETAILS, ADD_SEARCHABLE.)| |Right Arrow with Circle| This is a button to execute the search. You can also press the "Enter" button on your keyboard to execute the search.| |The "X"| Clears the last search results from the results list| |Three Horizontal Bars| Will open a panel for additional filters which include all items in the previously mentioned groups (ORG_HEADER, ORG_DETAILS, ADD_SEARCHABLE.) allowing a value to be entered for continuous filtering for subsequent searches. So for example if one of the columns is department and a department code is entered. When the user enters a name in the search box and executes the search… The search facility will search for all users with the name from the search box AND that are in the department entered. The details in the search box may be changed easily with the department filter remaining for each search.|[WEOC-fig7.png] |Right Chevron - Search Results|After execution of a search the results will be listed below the search results title. Each person found may be clicked upon causing the org chart to find that person and put that person Node into focus.|[WEOC-fig8.png] |Gear|Used to show the org chart setup controls. This dialog contains several options which may be utilized to customize how the org chart is used. The controls will be used as long as the user does not leave the org chart.
