VARIABLE RATE is a user defined field that can change the way that variable rate forced balancing can work. Under normal conditions, the Force Balancing of an employee's salary in a semi-monthly or monthly payroll will be prevented when an Employee has a Wage, Position or Job change in the middle of a Pay Period, as well as when an employee has more than one Assignment. If the force balancing should be applied even under those conditions, create this user defined field as noted below, and set the value to '1' in the IDEN screen. This user defined field is normally attached to the [IDEN] form. ---- ;User Field Definition in [IMUF] ||Field||Value |[Table Name|TABLE_NAME]|[P2K_CM_ENTITY_DETAILS] |[User Field|USER_FIELD_NAME]| VARIABLE RATE |[Prompt|FIELD_PROMPT]| Variable Rate Always: |[Type|FIELD_TYPE]| Char |[User Field Usage|USER_FIELD_USAGE]|User Defined ---- ![Notes|Edit:Internal.VARIABLE RATE (UDF)] [{InsertPage page='Internal.VARIABLE RATE (UDF)' default='Click to create a new notes page'}]
