Report Parameters & Filters#

Report Parameters
As of DateMandatory, user must provide a Date for the system to select which assignment and personal records to review for work and resident state
Create FileOptional, when Yes is selected UPRLU will create a flat file showing the original information in the Vertex columns and the new value in the Misc Tax Parameters
Update MethodMandatory, user must select which update option the UPRLU must perform

Vertex Conversion - inserts Miscellaneous Tax Parameters in IPRLU based on current information in State tab of IPRLU

Update Misc Tax Parameters – not supported at this time, intention is that this method will update IPRLU with any new tax parameters
Directory NameOptional, allows the user to specify a valid directory known to the database server. This is used when the Create File parameter is set to Yes.
File NameOptional, allows the user to specify a file name for the UPRLU flat file created

The file extension must be .xls, this is the only supported file format for UPRLU
TrialOptional, allows the user to run in Trial or Update mode

With No selected, Misc Tax Parameters will be inserted in IPRLU

With Yes selected, report will indicate what records could potentially be updated. If Create File = Yes, the flat file will still be created
Exception LevelMandatory, allows the user to select the amount of trace messages to print in the report

Report should be run with Exception Level 0

If issues are encountered re-run UPRLU with Exception Level = 9 for 1 employee.
User CommentAllows comments to be printed on the Parameter page

Report Filters
PayrollOptional, Multiple, and LOV available
Multiple payrolls may be selected per execution of this function.
Pay CategoryOptional, Multiple and LOV available
Multiple pay categories may be selected.
Pay PeriodOptional, Multiple, and LOV available
Users may limit the information selected by indicating specific pay periods.
Batch NumberOptional, Multiple, and LOV available
Users may limit the information selected by specifying batch numbers.

The report filters may be used to filter the employee records by the selected options, for example only run for Employment Status = Active.

People List
PersonOptional, Multiple Selection Available, LOV Available
This will limit the report to the persons selected.
EntityOptional, Multiple Selection Available, LOV Available
This will limit the report to the entities selected.
LocationOptional, Multiple Selection Available, LOV Available
This will limit the report to the locations selected.
Auth AreaOptional, Multiple Selection Available, LOV Available
This will limit the report to the authorization areas selected.

This will limit the report to the departments selected.
