Generate Self Service Access Record #

Processing Information#

The Generate Self Service Access (UMSSA) report can be used to automatically generate the employee’s accessor record. A report of UMSSA will display all of the employees that were updated and for which access was granted.

UMSSA will only generate MAC/MACD records if none exist OR if there is a sole MACD record spanning form BOT to EOT.

The employee will receive an email with their new password information. They will need to have their email address and password on hand when accessing Self Service for the first time.

If the SS_LOGIN_TYPE is set to "ACCESS", then the "Access Key" field will be populated with the email address of the employee when UMSSA is processed.

If the SS_LOGIN_TYPE is null, then this field will remain empty.

There are 4 options for generating the pin/password:
02 - App Generated
04 – Pull from EID
10 – Initial + Person Code
LG – Last Init + Last 4 of Govt Cd
