Time Rule Overview#

This time rule will apply the time code that is defined on the rule over any time code defined in the Target Time Code Set if that time is not associated with a scheduled shift.

Implementation#

The time rule should be set up in IDWR as shown below. See Time Rule Improvements for additional information regarding IDWR.

The Targeted Time Code Set is no longer mandatory; however, it is strongly recommended due to the complexity of the time code applying layers during the time generation process. One example where the Targeted Time Code Set is required is when special conditions are used with time exceptions.
