Top Up After Gap#
Time Rule Overview#
This time rule will top up time, up to the amount defined in the Value, if an employee works the minimum time, defined in the Band. Any gap in time will reset the calculation. Users can add different variations of this rule by using the helper time rules listed below.
- This helper time rule needs to be set up when the Top Up After Gap time rule needs to apply a prevailing rate.
- Not all of the time codes that this rule helps to calculate are considered prevailing rate, such as Travel.
- The Target Time Code Set defines the time codes that should NOT be considered the prevailing rate.
- Prevailing rate: When the system creates the top up record, the Time Codes and Premiums from the last record are used, with the exception of the time codes defined in the To Be Excluded field.
- If this helper time rule has been defined, the top up record may carry over only the prevailing rate from the last record. All other information will be cleared out.
