THRESHOLD CALL B – Threshold Call Back#

Time Rule Overview#

This time rule allows users to treat call back time differently, depending on the length of the call back time.
  1. If an employee is called back for a time that is less than the threshold time defined in the Band, the time will be topped up to the maximum time defined in the Value, using the prevailing rate.
  2. If an employee is called back for a time that is greater than threshold time defined in the Band, all of the worked time will be replaced by the defined Time Code on the time rule.

This rule must have the Target Time Code Set field defined with the Call Back time code. Other options are:

Targeting the time as call back time can be achieved by using:

  • A specific time code, or
  • A special condition when the time is entered into the system, or
  • The UNSCHEDULED TM time rule that will apply the defined Time Code for any time that is not associated with a scheduled shift

Users can add different variations of this rule by using the CLEARED TOP UP helper time rule. If this helper time rule is defined, the top up record may carry over only the prevailing rate from the last record. All other information will be cleared out.
