PREM SHIFT START - Premium Shift Start#

Time Rule Overview#

This time rule will apply a premium to the entire shift, if an employee starts work before or after the defined time in the To and From columns.

If the premium defined in the time rule is:

1. Fixed: the premium will be applied ONLY to the first shift record
2. Variable: the premium will be attached to all the records in a shift

From

• "after start time", if the work start time is after the time specified in the From column, the employee will qualify for the premium

To

• "before start time", if the work start time is before the time specified in the To column, the employee will qualify for the premium

Frequency

• predefined as ‘Every Shift’

Implementation#

The time rule should be set up in IDWR as shown below. See Time Rule Improvements for additional information regarding IDWR.
